Where on my body can it be done?
SkinTyte™can be used to treat a variety of body parts, including the face, neck, hands, upper chest, abdomen, legs and arms. SkinTyte™eye treatment tightens skin around the eyes to dramatically reduce wrinkles and puffiness. It is also a great option for a non-surgical tummy tuck! We are the experts in non-surgical tummy tucks. Just think, you can tighten a post-baby tummy without cosmetic surgery. SkinTyte™treatments are safe for all skin colors and can be performed on any area of the body (except inside the eye orbital) where a mild to moderate , noticeable skin firming is desired.
What is the recovery time?
The integral thermo-electric cooler in the SkinTyte™accessory creates a comfortable and effective treatment, unlike previous generation lasers. Because it selectively treats areas of the skin, improvement is more noticeable and the treatment is non-invasive, so there’s no downtime or recovery time. Are there companion skin treatments?

How does SkinTyte™work?

Will it help with cellulite?
The outcomes are incredible! There is no other effective treatment for cellulite available. It is very important to be on our Cellulite Skin Care program when doing areas with cellulite, this will provide the best possible outcome, by feeding the cells and neutralizing toxins.
What is the procedure like?
Prior to treatment, any make-up, ointments and creams must be removed and you will don protective goggles or adhesive eye patches. A series of pulsed infrared light is then administered in rows or sections. The treatment itself is pain free.
How many times should I have the procedure done?
Most parts of the body require between three and five treatments, at intervals of three to four weeks. Optimal results are seen four to six months after treatment, as collagen continues to increase.
After the original series of treatments, periodic maintenance treatments are recommended and vary depending on the area treated, typically 2-3 per year every 3-4 months.
The SkinTyte™procedure can be combined with other treatments for greater effect, like microdermabrasion peels or in combination with Botox injections or other fillers.

How does SkinTyte™work?
As our skin ages, its base foundation, known as the dermal matrix, begins to lose its tight, interwoven structure as some of its elastin and collagen strands become stretched. There is also a decreased production of collagen and elastin. The SkinTyte™procedure utilizes infrared thermal energy to deeply heat collagen in the dermis. The heat also initiates the body’s natural healing or repair process, which creates a renewed collagen foundation, leading to increased skin firmness. Collagen and elastin rebuild over 3-4 skin cycles (30-40 days per cycle). Powerful cooling maintains the outer surface of your skin at a cool temperature before, during, and after each pulse, providing the patient with a comfortable and safe procedure. Treatments are recommended every 3-4 weeks.

What is the treatment like?
The SkinTyte™light energy is delivered in a sequence of rapid, gentle pulses using a smoothing technique. A topical anesthetic is not used, because it’s not needed. A series of pulses will be repeated over the treatment area, to ensure the best results. While the face and neck can typically be treated within 20 minutes, the actual time will depend on the volume of the area treated.
How much downtime will there be after treatment?
The SkinTyte™treatment is non-invasive so there is no downtime. Clients are immediately able to resume their normal activities and may even apply makeup or sunscreen after each session with no visible signs of treatment. You may experience some mild redness in the treated area, but this will fade away within minutes post treatment. Your skin will appear firmer following treatment.
What areas can be treated?
SkinTyte™treatments are safe for all skin colors and can be performed on any area of the body where an improvement in your skin firmness is desired. Popular areas include the face, neck, abdomen, thighs, hands and arms. You should consult with your practitioner regarding the treatment options that are best for you.
How many treatments will I need before I begin to see results?
3-10 treatment sessions are recommended to achieve noticeable collagen rebuilding and skin firming. Depending on the severity of the area and your biochemical response, results vary from person to person. Your practitioner can work with you on a personalized treatment plan; however, the general recommendation is to do one treatment a month until you see results and then move to a maintenance plan of your choosing. Individuals may see immediate firming results right after treatment; this is usually from increased water in the tissues of the treated area. The full improvement is achieved 4-6 months after each treatment as collagen continues to rebuild with each stimulation. We recommend one treatment a month until results are achieved. Individuals who are on our skin care regimen and have consistent treatments have the best opportunity to achieve desired results. We can’t guarantee results, as they are dependent on your body’s response. We can tell you that many people achieve their goals with regular treatments as evidenced in the above photos.
What aftercare do I need?
Using our medical grade skin care program will significantly increase the benefits of your treatments. Be sure and ask your practitioner about the best products for you. Cellulite clients are strongly encouraged to purchase the cellulite skin care program for maximum benefits. Collagen rebuilding is dependent on extracellular matrix for growth. It is best if you can provide the treatment area with medical grade skin care nutrients designed to be used with the SkinTyte™procedure. Nutrients, peptides and antioxidants nourish and stimulate the area that is being encouraged to grow and as a result to tighten. You wouldn’t plant a garden and not water it!
Am I able to have other laser, light or skin care treatments with SkinTyte™?
Yes, there are many procedures that your practitioner may recommend for you in tandem with SkinTyte. We offer Botox, fillers, medical grade peels & skin care and cellulite product therapy, all of which can be combined with SkinTyte™for maximum outcomes.
